My daughter is taking an introductory course in anthropology this semester at our homeschool, Eco Arts Academy. I used Piers Anthony's books, "Isle of Woman," "Shame of Man," and "Hope of Earth" as bait, to lure her in. Anthropology is the best of everything, science, art, culture, industry, civilization itself. Thanks for the wonderful timeline, it's going right into the curriculum.
